My partner and I came to see you today in Wellington. Whilst others bought your new books to sign, you were sweet enough to sign our very battered and much read copy of The Mad Ship, which meant a lot to the both of us. We brought this book as it is our favourite of your peices, even before we learned the forground is actually part of Wellington harbour. We are thrilled with your original sketch of Althea and you put two fans so much at ease that we didn't realise till later how silly it sounded having you sign the book to our cat. It was a pleasure to meet you & you've inspired the both of us to get our own sketch pads out again. We'll be watching to see when your posters wil be available again & look forward to seeing your work in sculptures. Thank you again & all the best. Taby & Carrot
