I'm a big lover of Lord of the Rings, and when I watched the making of documentaries, I was surprised at the work involved to make such a masterpiece of a movie. You and Alan Lee truly inspired me to become the drawer that I once was. However, your style of painting as opposed to Mr. Lee's watercolor base is more appealing to me. I truly adore your style of envisioning Tolkien's words and absolutely love your paintings. I've seen you in interviews on my special edition LOTR DVDs and you seem like a great worker as well as artist. Your medieval knowledge is admirable as well.
